Dublin Zoo

We started the day at Europe's oldest zoo. Still fairly cold and windy, but the sun was out and took the edge off.

Lots of neat exhibits, and we saw a number of things we've not seen before. They had four red pandas and they were very active. The rhino exhibit housed five rhinos, and two of them bashed their horns together several times before one backed down. And right after that, they opened the doors of the giraffe house and eight or nine giraffes loped across their enclosure to get to their food. Despite the cold, it was very rewarding.
